Or "failing" with style. Whatever you wanna call it.
(good god, do I hate previews. But I have nothing else to show. D: It's a good substitute I guess...)
Aside from a series of bullshit I call "doodles and sketches", this is the only piece of work I've been working on the past couple weeks or so. Funny. I started it Wednesday. Fuck.
It's not great. In fact, I'm not even sure if I like it at all. But Mirridyth has been the only interesting subject matter on my mind lately, so I guessed it would have been a good idea to follow that.
MY MISTAKE FOR WORKING SO BIG, god dammit. I never work this large. Never ever. (I left my hand in there to give you a reference point.) So that may be one reason why it's taking me so fucking long to get anything done. =3=
Or maybe I just have no creative mojo in my blood this month. 8D
Hooray.
Anyway, hopefully I'll get more done, but I highly doubt that at the moment.
GGRRRRRAPHITE. and bristol. Aauuuugh that stuff's delicious.
Remove failing from your vocabulary. NOW. NOW. NOW!!!
|3 my desire to commission you increases. Unfortunately, my wallet doesn't increase in the same rate, lol. *waiting for end of semester so she can snag money*

Oooh, commission? D: I've never done it before, and I think I'd be scared to. The video production teacher did earlier this year, but he's a jerk so I never did the work. XD
Either way, I think you'd be perfect for me. 8D I'm not totally familiar with the commission scene, but since I'm familiar with you, I'd be a lot more comfortable doing the research and doing the work in general.
But not nao. XD Nao I haf school and shit.
And thanks for the sideways encouragement. XD

By your powers combined, I see what you quoted there.
But, really though. I don't think that is failing. D: It is heading in a good direction, methinks, by what I can see. It's having Mirridyth written all over it, and the movement looks quite interesting.
I know you're in a down-time right now, but don't give up. It'll come back to you soon enough, like it always did. *huggles*

XD I know, so do I, plus no money at the moment. XD *shakes fist at college* I've only comissioned one artist before myself, only because I knew her real well too. So yeah, I feel the same about the being familiar thing. Plus I trust you and your art; I don't let my charries be handled by just anyone (unless, yuo know, its gift art or whatever). :3 So yeah, I'll keep in touch (not like I can go anywhere, lul).
Yes, encouragement for you. *dumps a truckload of cookies on you* 8D Happy crunching.

I likes. You're touching paper and stuff. I can't wait to see it at home. I want to see the evolution. So far looks like some fabulous figure-ground and movement elements developing.
by the way. I recommend you be a liitle more discreet in your published judgements about people. Correct or not, your integrity suffers, you alienate people (maybe future friends and colleagues) and this stuff remains on the 'net in some form or another in perpetuity for ALL to read at some point. You could be slowly killing your career before it even starts. The people, educators, students and artists around you may very well be your future mentors, employers and instructors.
simply remember, if you can't say anything nice....
First off, everyone here at deviantART would like to say THANK YOU!!! We have received an overwhelming amount of enthusiasm for the launch of version 6 and believe that this has been our best-received launch to date.

`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
