More wings. I think I'm getting better at them.

I don't really have much to say... Most of me says I need to keep working on it, says it needs more refinement, but I just can't work on it anymore. Not like it's phenomenal or anything, but despite how gay he wound up looking, it's actually a pretty meaningful piece left open for interpretation.

I don't usually work with these colors... I tend to avoid blue in general. My earth tones consist of dirt and dead leaves, rather than the atmosphere and clear water. So it's not like it's my strongest piece, either.

With the underlying meaning and story, though, I'd say it's pretty illustrative. Perhaps, when I continue to work on it, his expression will change and the wax-paper flower will go away or whatever. XD

But at the moment, I think I'll just leave it as it is.

I'm kind of in a sleepy, semi-conscious state, and I'm not in a hurry to get out of it. (Damned to the depths, daylight saving's time. I was supposed to be up at 6:30 and I wake up at 9. *sigh*)
